Living on acreage gives us the opportunity to do some innovative landscaping projects. G&S have been an integral service contractor in helping us achieve a beautiful yard.
It started about 8 years ago when G&S installed a stream, which was completely lined to prevent leakage. The sound of rippling water is very soothing on summer afternoons and evenings.
The next year they installed an interlocking brick patio and walkway.
The following year G&S installed a concrete fountain base that is 8 feet in diameter. The fountain itself is about 6 feet high.
They have also installed about 1,000 feet of Casa Rio style 3 rail fence, planted 25 trees complete with a drip irrigation system and trenched in about 800 of pipe from our well, which allowed us to irrigate the yard from ground water.
They also rotto-tilled, prepared and planted a ½ acre field with wild flowers and natural grasses in the rear of our lot to create a colorful meadow. Since these are perennials they have been re-seeding themselves naturally over the years and the meadow is now beautiful with natural flowers blooming all summer long.
In 2006, G& S installed and outdoor fireplace, related interlocking stone and a large Pergola system, which transformed an eyesore to a very beautiful outdoor retreat similar to what, you would see in the South West. The outdoor fireplace and related outdoor décor is ideal for entertaining groups of up to 50 people.
In the last 8 years G& S has helped us do many projects in our yard. We keep calling them back as when they finish the job, it is done to our satisfaction, on time, and the cleanup after allows us to enjoy the finished product immediately.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs their wide range of abilities and I am sure that we will utilize their services in the future.
